In the National Healthcare Disparities Report of 2008 by Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, three key themes emerge:

  1. Disparities persist in health care quality and access,
  2. Magnitude and pattern of disparities are different within sub-populations, and
  3. Some disparities exist across multiple priority populations.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Health Disparities Program allows CMS to develop a health care forum that encompasses public and private partnerships to address health disparities nation-wide through a common message.  The purpose of this community forum is to provide a platform which enables us to communicate with you. We may not respond directly to every post, but we assure you that your posts will be read.
